I wanted to make a card for my friend Karen who is feeling under the weather. I hope she acts surprised when she gets it.
My family thinks this kitty looks emaciated. I think he's cute and they have no idea what they are talking about!
I bought this kitty stamp at Rubber Buggy in Ronks, PA about a week ago. I love that store and will be sad when they close in a few weeks. This kitty was a stamp they used for classes and is unmounted red rubber so he has no manufacturer marking. If you know who designed him, please let me know.
Ink: Palette Hybrid Burnt Umber, Copic Markers
Paper: SU River Rock, SU Whisper White, Deja Views DP, Purple scraps from a CKC scrap pack
Accessories: Foam tape, Brads (from CKC last year!) SU Rub-ons
I am cleaning up my craft room today. It looks like a tornado hit it and I am determined to make it neat.
I am also hoping to pick the papers I will use on my stationery sets. I have so much paper that sometimes it is really hard to choose one and just start something. Once I clear off my counter I plan on starting them.
Oh, and I have an online 50% off Michael's coupon (I am getting a few more storage cubes) so if you want it too let me know and I will email it to ya!
So, I finally did it. I created a blog. There's so many of them out there these days I felt it was finally time to get one of my own! Plus, I hope it helps my out of state family keep in touch and get to watch my kids grow.
The American Red Cross has announced it is out of disaster relief funds to aid those affected but the devastating flooding in the Midwest, including Wisconsin, Missouri, Iowa and Illinois. Over at SplitcoastStampers, they have agreed to sponsor a raffle of handmade gifts. I will post a link and more information about that in another post. But you can bet I will be creating something. Maybe one of those cute stationery kits. Maybe a paint can. I think the Red Cross is a wonderful organization and I look forward to being able to create something that will help them out!
I hope to get started on that later today and have it posted mid week.
But for now, the kids and I are off to the park for a hike in the woods!
I am a wife of seventeen years and mom to four wonderful children. I am also grandma to two, with another on the way! I love all things paper and papercrafting.
Please feel free to contact me with any questions, comments or concerns about any post on my blog.
