measure twice, cut once...

This card was supposed to be for last weeks sketch challenge at Taylor's blog but I didn't measure correctly... who am I kidding, I didn't measure at ALL! LOL There's supposed to be three paper strips behind the main image panel but mine were too wide and already mounted onto the tangerine tango card stock. I decided that I'd try to work with what I had, and this is what I came up with. There are no mistakes, right?? I really do like the way this had turned out but I hope to get time to do the real sketch!

supplies:
ink: basic black
stamps: american artistamps. su sassy suzie
paper: cosmo cricket cogsmo, su tangerine tango, gina k 80# white
accessories: copic markers, su square eyelets, pink hedgehog hemp twine

No such thing as a mistake!! This card is perfect as it is. :D I love the color combo as I am an orange fanatic. "Puff's" (as in the dragon)googly eyes are adorable. What a cute layout.

I have often started with a sketch and ended up with something very different because my measurements didn't work with the intended design. I think your card is adorable. Bright and cheery.
